My Happy Place Let the Creativity Flow...

I FINALLY got my scrap room :) yay!!!!!! It only took since november that we moved into this house. I have 4 more boxes of books (they are in the hallway so that they are in the way-they were not allowed back into my room...lol) to go through and we have officially unpacked all the boxes. Below are some pics...I still have to organize the stuff in my drawers better but I guess little by little I will figure out where to place everything.

Trunk full of love

I made this card (standard A2) for the Wacky Wednesday Challenge at More than Favors. Its a color challenge use: Brown, Cream, Pink and Teal. I used the elephant with a heart above its trunk from the Holiday Cakes cart. I used my Jungle Fever stamp set from Pink by Design. The phrase is so cute! "Sending a trunk full of love". I cut the elephant at about 3" and then I used one my favorite Peachy Keen Stamps PK-755 Critter Faces Set A Large. I am entering this into their Face it Friday Challenge, which is to use your favortie stamp. Thanks for looking!

Pink By Design -Color Challenge

I made a layout for the Color challenge over at  Pink By Design. The colors are Red, White and Blue and it can't be a card. I'm three years behind on scrap booking my son's picture, and I thought this would be a perfect time to make a layout and participate in the challenge. In the picture is the Doctor that delivered the best gift I have ever gotten, my son was 1 month old. Amazing that he is now 3 yrs. old. How time flies! I used the Pink By Design "Oh Boy" stamp set for the saying "You're just PLANE cute". The "OH BOY!" is from the Mickey Font cartride. Thanks for Looking!

Livestrong Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us this weekend (5/7/11-5/8/11)  in this very inspiring blog hop. This blog hop was started by  Maria and inspired by her fiance. I was honored to be invited to be apart of this. WE all know someone who has been diagnosed with any type of cancer, is a survivor, still fighting it  or has been taken from us! I chose to make a standard A2 card representing breast cancer.

I found the ribbon in the Stand and Salute (so happy I bought it on sale for about 10.00 at Michaels), I never thought I would really use it but figured if anything I would use the planes. The words "pink" and "power"  I used the Alphalicious cart.  I did silver stitching on the words and dark pink stitching on the ribbon. I also used a white with pink lines ribbon in the middle of the card. Its simple but the matter is much more serious.
